Letting us know what notebook and model. And if it was offered with XP helps. It comes down to getting a new version of XP unless you already own a retail version. You need to get the XP drivers and there you go.

You are a very smart man/woman for upgrading back to XP.

As powerpack mentioned, state your notebook make/model so that we can help you gather XP drivers for your system.

And, for future reference, people are more inclined to regard you as an intelligent man/woman if you refrain from referring to Vista as "the vista". ;) :D

Well, if you go to Lg's support website, they have a section where you enter your notebook's model, and then operating system.
    http://www.lge.com/support/software.jsp

I am looking at it now, LG provides the drivers for:
    the graphics card,
    the intel chipset,
    light indicator driver,
    notebook magnifier option,
    sata drivers,
    updater program,
    ip operator,
    battery monitor,
    screen driver,
    bluetooth,
    audio,
    ethernet,
    touchpad and
    the wireless drivers.

So LG does provide all of the drivers you will need.

I recommend downloading the drivers now, and burning them to a cd, or backing them up on an external harddrive.
(Do this now, cause you will not be able to access the internet without wireless or ethernet drivers.)

This way, you have a copy of the drivers.
So when XP finishes installing, simply put in the cd, and just copy the files to the harddrive, run the programs, and then install all of the drivers.

    Good luck

    K-TRON
