hey my dell xps M1530 is literally just back from the repair shop and theres a problem already, the thing wont turn on, the power button is unresponsive and the laptop is showing no signs of life on or off the mains power.

Does anyone have any ideas of how to solve this as i kinda need the laptop for work that im already behind on :(?

further details/ specs of the laptop can be given if needed.

    Thanks,
    Harry

Have you tryed removing the battery and re-seating it? Other than that i can't come up with anything else to do. Because i guess you're under warranty and don't wanna open it up yourself,as that will certainly void the warranty?

I'd say you have to return it to the repair place again, you should get something from them for that misstake, how can they not test the laptop before they give it back to you!
