i am recently thinking about purchasing a hp zv5000z and am happy with everything it has to offer except it's graphics card. i noticed that the zv5000z and zx5000 cases are pretty much the same and was wondering if it were possible to swap the graphics card. the zv5000z will come with the geforce 4 440 go and the zx5000 i currently own has an ati 9600. i heard the geforce chip is pretty outdated in the zv5000v, and was wondering if anyone has any real world experience with this graphics card, because i saw benchmarks for the geforce and they're pretty bad. pretty much wondering if the geforce can play games like half life 2, if i'm not gonna be able to swap the cards.

also, i'm pretty much looking for an amd processor, xbrite screen, 512 ram, atleast 60 gig hdd running at 5400, and a good graphics card for around $1300. if anyone knows of another company besides hp with these options, please let me know.

You may want to wait for the zv6000. It is HP's refresh of the zv5000. It could have AMD's Pentium M fighter CPU, the Turion and/or a better graphics card. Supposed to be out in the next few months:
