    I've been reading the posts above. So, AMD made a nice APU, HP has put it in some EliteBooks, but did limit the TDP. Before the APU exceeds a certain TDP, the APU throttles back, even if there's enough temperature headroom. Isn't there any way to disable the TDP limit?

    This video provides a side by side demo of the HP Elitebook 745 powered by AMD and the HP EliteBook 740 powered by Intel going through a series of simultaneous productivity tasks.

    Is it likely that the APU inside the EliteBook 745 shown in the video is TDP limited too?
