Greetings 83bj60, yes, I am still here (and still using my 8730w)

First my 2700 broke, during gaming, I guess overheating, however, my replace 3700 broke, too, at that time I only had the one pipe cooling system but I think this time it was not overheating. If I am not wrong, there have been a few bad 2700 / 3700 (faulty manufacturing) around and it is not always overheating. I can only recommend using the best cooling paste and new pads for assembly. I now have a 2700 again and this has worked so far (installed 5 years ago). I only have the T9600 and it runs a lot of the time at 100 % (Windows 10) so get the X9100. And yes, the standard WUXGA is crap (it is dark, only fluorescent tube), go for the Dreamcolor!

A little update on my 8730w journey which couldn't even start. The seller of the dreamcolor 8730w felt upset for some stupid reason and decided to sell his device to someone else. Kudos to himself and congratz to the guy who bought it. No hard feelings about it. I decided to pass the standart wuxga 8730w cause the only thing appeals to me in a 10+ year old laptop would have been its display. So, i decided to take a look at local shops for some 17inch nice display laptops, i stumbled upon a SONY VAIO SVE171E13M with i7-3632QM, radeon 7600m, 12gb ddr3 ram, 240gb hyperX ssd, bluray, 17.3 ips led 1080p sony panel, backlit keyboard, usb3,webcam etc. for 270usd. I thought it was a steal and bought it. Glad i bought it instead of the dreamcolor 8730w. I will buy a DREAMCOLOR HP one day for sure and i will consult to you wonderful brothers once again about it.

    Thanks.
