Well if you want to play games I would say to go with the DV9000T, because it's graphics card is alot better than the GO 7400, you also won't get a drastic speed boost from the T7200, or anything that will really benfit you.

The HP dv9000t is much better than the dv6000t. The graphics card is going to be outdated after the Jan.2007 and all of the retailers like Dell, Gateway, and HP are probably going to offer full 256RAM dedicated option. I have no clue why they haven't done it now.
If you can afford the 17", then buy that one. Since battery life is not an issue, you should have no problems.
You might also want to consider the Dell E1505, Dell E1705, or the 15.4" Asus S96J w/256 VRAM. If I could afford the 17" I would have bought that one.

I would get the dv9000t, performance does not go up very much with that CPU change. The graphics card is a lot better card.

I just got a dv9000t. I would recommend the 100Gb 7,200 rpm HDD, the HDD is the biggest bottleneck on your system.
    It's only $80 more.

i would def go with the dv9000t if you are not going to move around much.. I had a 17" wsxga.. the resolution and the bigger screen was great. I had to get rid of it because it was too much to carry around, but since you are not moving around often.. the dv9000 will be perfect. And also the graphic card on the dv9000t is much much better.
