I know a place in my neighbourhood where i can buy some hp laptops at low prices. But they only sell dv4000's without the x700 graphic card. A local computershop says that they can deliver me the "ati mobility x700" for the dv4000. But i'm not sure if you can place a x700 in any dv4000.

Does anyone know in which dv4000 notebooks you can place the x700? I believe but i'm not sure that you can place a x700 in dv4000 notebooks from the dv4300 series.

Looking at www.partsurfer.hp.com doesn't get me an answer

Huh? HP no longer sells the DV4000 with the X700 (how unfortunate), and for 99% of all laptops, you cannot replace the graphics card.

In Malaysia they still do sell DV4000 with ATIx700
    Just check and see hp.com.my

I'm aware that most of the laptops are not upgradable concerning graphic cards, but will there be dv4000's shipped without a x700 but have the possibility to place a x700?
