[Deal] Return DV6tqe ( with touchscreen ) to HP or sell?

If you are considering to do so, please help in get one DV6 SB with touchscreen. I am ready to pay extra 100USD for the DV6 SB you bought from HP.

I know a lot of you are frustrated with the latest announcement by Intel about the Design Flaw in their SB Chips. And if you are planning to return your Dv6-tqe to HP, then heres a deal for you. I need to buy the same DV6-tqe with Touchscreen and i'm in a bit of trouble now. Before the announcement of this design flaw the build date on HP site was around 14feb and now it is pushed back to March first week. I was waiting for a good deal as i had a week in my hands earlier, as my visa is going to expire just before the end of this month. Now, even if i oder the DV6-tqe with touchscreen, i won't be able to collect it before i leave US. So, the only option for me is to buy a second hand version or some pre-configured ones. I guess none of the pre-configured or ready to ship models with touchscreen and SB are available.

So, if anyone is planning to return their SB DV6 with touchscreen, they can help me. I'll buy it for the same price they got it from HP, so the full refund works for them too. Please anyone considering to send their DV6-tqe with touchscreen, help me! My choice for specs was
- 2630QM i7
- 8Gb RAM
- 640Gb HD at 7200RPM
- Touchscreen
- 6cell + 9cell
- No additional softwares
- DVD writer
I don't have a choice though, still anyone close to this config can contact me if they are really thinking on sending their DV6-tqe back to HP. ( touchscreen is only imp for me )

And yes, I want to buy it knowing the fact that it might be affected by Design flaw because i don't have any other option left and it won't affect me much if i had to change my Optical drive in a year or so. And eSata won't affect me either.

Or do suggest me something, i don't want to return without a SB touchscreen from US.

Edit : To make the situations worse, HP has pulled out the SB series laptops from their website. Adding to cart gives me an error. Damn!

No one willing to help? I mean you can always buy the latest version or even the current version when it gets restocked. But i'll Leave US by the end of this month. And i so want a SB Laptop. I'm even ready to pay extra 100USD for the DV6 SB. So, if you plan to get it refunded by HP and Buy the newly announced Dv6 or DV7, you get a bonus 100USD, if you help me buy this one.

Help me buy a SB touchsceen! I'm willing to pay extra 100USD, thats the amount you paid to HP for DV6 SB + 100USD

 

If the flaw was to arise, even if you change to a different or new optical drive, it will not work, as the fault takes place inside the chipset.
