    i know this might be a silly question to ask

    but i did it before and upgraded the cpu in my dell notebook a couple of years ago but to be honest both were from the same series

    now can we get the envy with lets say an i3 and get a new boxed i5 SB and replace it manually ? after a teardown ofcourse

    can the MB handle it ? because as i know all other components should be 100% compatible
