    1 Long & 2 Short Beeps on my HP DV9000 no Video

    HP DV9000 blank screen 1 long and 2 short beeps at start up.

    I had been watching a video off the web and decided to take a nap, I closed the cover with the laptop on battery power and sat it on the sofa next to me. A 1/2 hour later I opened the cover and could not get the display to come back, all the LEDs were lit above the keyboard. Ifinally powereed it down and when I powered it back up I recieved the 1 Long beep followed by the 2 Short beeps. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I tried connecting an external display abd can't get anything on it either. HELP!!!!! Thank You, Dave
