    Hi Everyone,

    What type of warranty do you have or would you recommend through HPShopping? I would either go with the 1 year that you automatically get or the 2-year HP Pick Up and Return at $169.99 -- which I'd have to give up some things (like the T9300 processor) to get.

    Well, if you will change your laptop in the course of one year then don't get the extended warranty.

    I get 2 year after that technology has advanced so much you might as well get a new laptop

    just get the standard and wait, you have until that warranty expires to purchase any of the other warrantys, dont let it make you lower your options. i plan to buy the 2 or 3 year warranty when i get some more money in.

    Buy with an American Express card.

    They automatically cover you for another year of warranty once the official one expires, so if you purchase with an AMEX then you get two years.

    You can look it up, it's called the "Buyers Assurance Plan".

    It's a win-win situation.
