    1030NR updated touch drivers. no longer works

    I uninstalled the touch pad drivers that came installed. I have installed the new ones several times. The touchpad no longer works.

    The white light is on for it. I have tried turning it on and off. It and the buttons do nothing.

    I also do not see the icon for it in my system tray anymore.

    Is this just a re-install scenario?

    How much larger would an install of windows xp Pro xsp3 be over the home edition that came with my unit? I'm assuming since the HDD is so small that it has some form of a compressed OS?
