I am using HP DV2000 laptop. Recently i re-installed windows and while updating drivers i updated the BIOS. After restart it is giving '"104-Unsupported wireless network device detected.
System halted. remove device and restart.' error message. I tried to load default settings from BIOS but of no help...Unable to boot any CD...

This isn't really a Windows issue as it is an HP issue. I'm betting you had a corrupt BIOS flash, or you have a bad network card. Moving to the HP forum where you'll hopefully get more expertise.

What bios was it running earlier? Did you install any third party wifi/WWAN card? The error message you are seeing is due to the HP whitelist which blocks the use of any 'non hp approved' wifi/WWAN cards. If you have no issues with opening up the notebook, try removing the wifi card & see if the system boots.
