I have a Hp dv 6500. It has a T5450 @1.66Ghz, 2GB ram, and a 128ram 8400GS. Should it be lagging when I play blu-ray movies on 1080p. BTW, it is not a actual blu-ray disc but a blu-ray rip it it matters. Also, it is able to handle 720p rips fine.

Theoretically it shouldn't. Make sure you are using the latest driver for your card (go to Laptop Video 2 Go and download if not). Are you using XP or Vista? If you are using Vista you can install SP1 from the link in my signature (RTM).
