12-cell battery performance on the dv5t?

Looking at this guide:

The user reports 3.5 hours average of the high capacity 6-cell. What about the 12-cell?

depends on usage and the GPU.

if it's the same configuration, the 12 should get about 6-7hours.
by the way the number of cells the battery contains doesn't alway mean more batterlife, check what the overal Watthour rating of both batteries is and compare them, if the 12's rating is double so will the batterylife.
