I'm looking at HP's refurb store and there are two 900 14's listed. One is listed as BV the other LED. Are they the same?

Any 1600x900 on the Envy 14 must be a Radiance ... I dont think 14's ever had 1600x900 Brightview.

I am not sure, others may know better.

Edit : Looked at HP listing, the 1600x900 BV must be a typo , as $859 is way to cheap for a radiance. The other, 1600x900 LED, is $1019 which is more in line with refurb 14's with radiance.

Its probably a typo and hopefully towards the Radiance. I ordered an Envy 14 refurb listed around that price which stated it had a Radiance but an i5 480m CPU. Once I received it and booted up to look at the Device Manager I was pleasantly surprised to see it was a 580m. :D

If you try to ask any rep they'll pretty much state what you see is what you get and be sure to not close the order until you're transfered to a sales manager who can help sweeten the deal a little before closing. ;) But be sure to specify the exact Part Number to them.

Either way there is a 10 day full refund and free RMA if you're not satisfied. But be sure to get the name and contact of the sales rep you talked in order to smooth any issues over.

It's worth trying if you really want a radiance, but thats a bit of a gamble :)
I would hate receiving the wrong one and have to go through the return process.

otherwise, someone listed a 14+radiance for $870 in the NBR marketplace.
