    Has anybody heard of any HP plans to offer touchscreens on any of their 17" laptops? I am going to buy a laptop this spring, but would prefer to have a touchscreen that is 17" and not just 15.x".

    Any rumors or announcements?

    HP does not even offer a good high resolution screen in DV line also now they have cancelled touch screen and backlit key on dv6 may be you can expect an Envy 17 Touchscreen Edition..... :cool:

    It was an available option for the DV7 Select Edition, but more recently they removed it from the store :( And there are currently no public announcements on getting another one.
