i've had this dv9000z for almost 2 yrs. ... its a great computer but its been messing up. webcam doesn't work, battery won't last unplugged for more then 2 minutes. i'll probably buy a new battery within the next few weeks. i currently bought more memory for it so now its up to 2gigs. the laptop only came with 80gbs. i feel a little shafted b/c laptops now come with 120gb minimum, hehe. i know asus has a laptop that comes with 1TB out the box. the most i've seen was 320gb for a laptop hard drive. rarely have i seen a 500gb hard drive. does any know where to get one at a reasonable price? i have a lot of music and movies so having 1TB will be great.. thanks

Hitachi Travelstar 5K500 HTS545050KTA300 is a 500GB HD for notebooks and the Asus has two of them.

You can find them at several dealers. Here is one location http://tinyurl.com/6jrk8q.
