Hey everyone I have browsed the forum and I cannot find a solid answer on this but I was hoping someone could help...

I have a dv6-7014nr that I have upgraded the RAM and the Wifi card my next step would be to upgrade the hard drive.

I have a 750 GB 7200 rpm drive in the machine now with no mSSD:

    - My question is, can I put a high capacity SSD into the mSSD slot and use that as my primary hard drive (running os and primary programs) then use my mechanical drive as secondary storage?

    - Or should I just remove the mechanical drive and install a SSD?

    - Perhaps a 3rd option would be is put a large mSSD in and use it in conjunction with the HDD for cache.

Your thoughts and insights would be appreciated before I go buying unnecassary equipment.

Did some more research during my lunch break... i realize the differences between the SSD and mSSD form factor now so I think I can make some educated decisions on my own. Sorry for wasting the forum real estate...
