This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    "20" HP Monitor and a Gateway Notebook

    I am trying to make the HP Monitor the primary screen, but for some reason my gateway only allows it to be the secondary. I've tried all the standard ways of doing it, but when I click apply in the properties window my hp window "goes to sleep" and the notebook remains. Any suggestions.
