    Just thought I'd point out that the 20% cashback offer has expired as of 10/11 as I just found out because I never recieved an e-mail from live.com regarding the cashback :(. It's a shame... but use the code SV3204 as it gives you 15% off your purchase :D.

    Are you sure... you need to get an e-mail. The microsoft customer service rep. even wrote to me that the offer is expired.

    Just heard from Chango in the hdx16t official thread that the 15% off coupon now will not work on the hdx16t... whether that is for just the hdx or for all other notebooks is uncertain.

    well, it can take up to 2 days for it to show up...
    and if it doesnt just email live cashback support and they will help you.

    Well I guess the Microsoft customer rep. that I wrote to could be trying to mislead me into thinking the deal was over..... doesn't hurt to give it a try. I just thought I'd be safer by just using that 15% off coupon, otherwise, I'd end up paying nearly "full price" for the laptop.

    Remember that the coupon from HP for 15% is INSTEAD of the Live.com cash back, not in addition. You WON'T get ANY money from Live.com if you use the coupon, FYI....

    F janky *** microsoft, the first laptop (dv5t)I ordered with 30% of coupon and they gave me the 20% cashback, but I returned it ordered a hdx16t and now they say "it doesnt work with coupons" haha they are just getting shady. It worked once.

    Has anybody ever received the Live confirmation of the cashback by email (and it also showing in your pending cashback via live login) and have the cashback later removed?

    yes I understand your reply, however it DID work with a coupon once, now it does not. I read the fine print it said it wouldnt, I tried, I got cashback with 30% off coupon, then did $500 off coupon for another laptop, no cashback.

    That's called being lucky, not MS "getting shady". You read the terms. You violated the terms. They cancelled your cashback according to the terms. How's that shady? (rhetorical question)...
