I don't know if this has been posted here yet, but there is a review of the upcoming DV3 on this site. It's been up there for at least a month now. I just remembered it now.

Exclusive: 2010 HP Pavilion dv3 Review – HP Fansite

And all I have to say is daaaannnnnggg. Move over Envy 14, move over as the DV3 is now the smallest quad core. Besides that everything else is looking good too. 6 hours of battery life under moderate usage with an i7 quad core and 9 cell battery. Very impressive. With an i5 config + switchable graphics, that should easily reach 10 hours. Also, it still comes with the same GPU in the DM4. All in all, that is one nice looking ultraportable. There's only one problem, no confirmed release date.

Ok, so this was a 'review' based on photos and spec sheets of an unreleased product?

Part of the review seems to be cut and paste from HP, the other part kind of says he actually had one in hand but mis-identified it somehow.

EDIT: It's definitely not vaporware, as tomnus confirms below.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but when exactly is this laptop coming to the US? People already have a hold of it overseas.

I stopped reading once i saw "6-cell battery". You'll be lucky to get 1:30 out of that.
