I'm going to be mounting a 32" LCD on the wall my computer desk is against. I plan to use it as an external monitor but mainly for video. Does the HDMI port on my DV6 carry Audio to the TV or will I need to run another cable? I've tried searching Google and Here but I can't get a definitive answer.

Yes it does, you have to enable digital output in your sound settings to get it working.

Thanks for the help! I don't see it under the IDT settings but I don't have anything plugged into it right now either. Thanks A Lot!
