Did anyone here order their 2012 DV6t-7000QE laptop straight from HP with the 160gb ssd? How do you like it and are you ready to purchase a larger ssd as I am?

I would like to upgrade to a larger SSD, possibly closer to 240 gb or 480 gb from crucial, but need to know if there is anything that would limit me from doing this. HP likes to tell you the bios won't support this but I don't believe them seeing as though they routinely poo poo questions regarding certain upgrades that aren't done through or by hp.

I would appreciate any info on how to proceed installing a larger ssd. Also, I would be copying all data from the current ssd to the new ssd to make things easier before installing the new drive.

Did you have to do anything to the bios to accomodate the larger ssd?

    Any comments?
