Brand new dv6500t, after the initial setup ran Windows Exp right away..

I've relentlessly been deleting/removing bloatware to decrease the sluggish 4 min boot-up time as well. Please share any tips to make this comp more zippy!

Ouch, that low. I got 3.4 on my Geforce Go 7400. You could try reinstalling the drivers or doing a fresh install

I used to have a dv9500 with the 8400GS card and that was the score I was getting for Graphics.
-
Yeah my 6000t gets a 3.9 desktop performance with my Go 7400, 3.4 gaming performance.

Here's my score using only a 6150:
More details about my computer

Graphics NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150 3.7
Gaming graphics 623 MB Total available graphics memory 3.0
Primary hard disk 94GB Free (141GB Total) 4.9
Windows Vista (TM) Home Premium -
a Go 7400 only nets you a 3.4 gaming score? I'm not missing anything with my 6150 then.
-
I really doubt the 6150 is equal to the 7400. 3DMark is only marginally accurate for gaming and it goes through a 15 minute test. I wouldn't trust windows and its 30 second test one bit.
-
This windows TEST is a crap, as sometimes it shows even different results within one system without any hard or soft changes.

my score went up to 3.2 after i upgraded the video driveran increase of .1 dont know how somebody went up to 3.4.
-
The difference might be the drivers being used.
I used the latest drivers from HP, then the drivers from Windows Update, and only got 3.1 and 2.4.
Using the 165.01 from laptopvideo2go.com site, I got my current 3.7 / 3.0.
If you have an Nvidia graphics 'card', see:

Also, if you have Norton or anything resource intensive running, disable/uninstall. -
i hope nvidia and ati aren't making cheats to inflate the windows performance index. I have a bad feeling they are.
-
I also saw a jump in 3DMark benches, so I doubt it is a cheat.
