    Hi All,

First I would like to thank all that helped me in this forum in making my first notebook choice, HP ZT3000. This has been a great place to come and get notebook 'smarts'. THANKS EVERYONE!!!

I have not done a review yet, because of time. The time I have spent on it has been checking out all that I can to make sure it all works within the 30 day return period. I have not found anything wrong, but just wanted to make sure I have the right date in my head just in case I need/want to return it.

Hence the reason for this question. Does anyone know for sure when HP starts your 30 days for return? Their policy says '30 days after delivery'. Does this mean 30 days:
    1. From the day it shipped from HP?
    2. or from the day you received it at your home?

I interpret 'after delivery' meaning after it gets to me (#2). However, I know some companies use ambiguous statements and this could be #1 as well. I want to see how many more days of checkout I have before my 30 days are up. I have not tested everything yet. Any clarity on this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you in advance.

The 30 days should start when you signed for the package, or HP might also use the courier selivery date. They usually put the date & time of when the package was signed for.

I think VB's right but I know you can call HP after you have your computer they will tell you what day they consider to be your last day. I had to do this when I had 2 days left so I could exchange mine.

OK. Thanks VB and DaGreek. This is what I was thinking too, but wanted to be sure. So, instead of a couple of days, I still have over a week for checkout. Great.
