This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    HP now offers the 3700+ chip only $100 above 3400+ in their R3000z.

    I just ordered the Pavilion zv5000z with the 3700+/512RAM/WSXGA+/GeForce 4 440 64M/WLANg for ***$1288*** (couting the rebates and 5% credit card payback) [ ;)]

    Can ANY other notebook manufacturer beat that price?

    Glad I have until Sept.6 to return mine. Maybe HP will also offer brightscreen and better gpu by then.
