Right when I got my dv6000 about 2 months ago, I installed notebook hardware control. And ever since then it has been saying that the wear level of the battery is 39%.

I get around 3 hours of battery on light usage (internet) with notebook hardware control taking my CPU to 800Ghz.

Is Notebook Hardware Control right when it says the bettery is 39% worn out?
Could this mean my battery was pretty bad to being with?

I keep doing the battery "priming" thing every 2-3 days. I charge it to 100%, then use it till it dies completely at 0%.

Should I be concerned about the 39% wear level?

    Thanks in advance.

If the battery run time is about the same as when you first had the notebook, then I wouldn't be worried. The 3 hours that you are getting at the moment, seems okay. NHC may be reoprting the wear incorrectly.

Also, when calibratung, it isn't best to run the battery down to 0%, as it can become damaged this way. The internal circuit may just totally disconnect the cells, and the pack will become useless. Let it get to a low figure, something like 4% will do fine.
