    3rd party software fan control for a dv9225 running Vista

    Hi guys, did a search, didn't find what I was looking for.
    Probably didn't use the exact phrase, but there are so many, which one to use!

    That said, are there any 3rd party software apps to control the fan?

    My fan screams at times (it's kinda loud), slows a bit, then goes to idle, as I'm sure others here have experienced.
    I'm using F.28 for a BIOS.

    I'd like to control it so it runs, but slow & ramps as needed, which should be less if it's slowly running & constantly drawing heat away from the CPU.

    I know I could leave it on power saver or balanced, but then I wouldn't get the full functionality of the notebook.

    My old Gateway did that & I loved it.

    BTW, the fan kicked on 4 times while writing the above short note.
