I'm using a dv9500z with Broadcom 4321ag wireless. I routinely use multiple laptops. However, the internet connection at my campus is governed by MAC address and, unless we undertake a good deal of paperwork, we're restricted to two connections. I'm trying to configure my systems so that the wireless MACs are the same across them but am having trouble with this system in particular.

Using the Locally Administered MAC Address option does not appear to work. SMAC 2.0 and MACAddressChanger are also not working. I have not attempted to manually edit the registry and would rather not if there are alternatives available.

    Does anybody have any suggestions?

I'd consider getting cheapo WiFi router and program its MAC. That way any new systems or changed systems of yours would still be okay.

True, but that's just one more thing to lug around everywhere. ~_~

Don't they sell small portable routers. I think I remember reading about that once
