    Hi,

I have read a couple of times on this forum that the DV2500 actually supports 4GB ram, and now I see (only) on the HP Malaysia site it reads:

So it is true? Regardless of what it says on the UK website?

If so, is it worth me going from 2GB to 3GB (I would only do this, not to 4gb - it's not worth it).

Predominantly the laptop would be used for photoshop/dvd watching/internet browsing/email/msn/standard student stuff. Worth the £80 or so to buy a 2GB stick from crucial?

    Matt

Yes, they will accept 4GB but will only see around 3.25 with 32bit Windows. And yes, you can run just 3GB (as I am, and it was worth it to me over 2GB).
