Im thinking of buying a Hewlett Packard Pavilion ze4910.it only takes a 6 cell lithion battery.
Salesman at HP said for my purpose of watching DVD Movies, with the right settings which I have a copy of,it should last 4 hours.

    Hi,
According to me, Notebooks with 6 cell batteries will last you up to 3 hours & thus also depends on Processor you have. For example if you have a Centrino Notebook with a Intel Mobile processor the 6 cell battery lifetime will be longer (4-5 hours)than a notebook with a normal desktop processor with 6 cell battery. You can also set up your notebook for power consumption, for example the brightness of your screen (the dimmer the screen the longer battery lifetime, the brighter the screen the shorter battery lifetime). You can also set your processing speed which will help you achieve longer battery lifetime---the downfall side of these settings are that you must actually "decrease" your notebook performance & functionallity to achieve longer battery lifetime.

In short you have 2 options :
    1. Search for a noteboook with 12 cell battery
    or
    2. Get a notebook with a Intel Mobile processor, which sole purpose is to save battery lifetime etc.
