Hi, I'm looking into purchasing a dv6500t soon! I was just wandering if the benefits of the 6 cell hi cap justify the $29 price difference?

i talked to someone at hp and they said the high capacity gave an hour extra i think, but the 12 cell gave like 3 hours extra. for the price difference, i thought the 12 cell was a much better deal. little heavier but i don't plan on carrying it enough to make a difference

It will last longer without having a physically bigger battery, like the 12cell which raises the back a little bit less than an inch, i personally would get it since it is only $30, unless you never use the battery

Yeh, I use the battery all the time! Thanks for the help, I don't really like the look of the 12 cell so I'll get the 6 cell hi cap =)

Thats what I use. If you use WIFI plus the BT you will only get around 2 hours with the 6 cell hi cap. BT will cost you around 30 percent battery life believe it or not.
