I just installed xp 64 bit edition on my dv6000z and I'm having trouble finding drivers. any help would greatly appreciated.

The graphics card is a Nvidea gforce go 6150 if that helps any.

    Well, here's the deal:

HP has a few drivers shown here. You'll want to install Microsoft UAA driver from there before a sound driver will work.

Then, go here and get most of your drivers. It's the Vista-64 driver page for your machine, but the vast majority of the drivers are the same for XP x64. Again, you MUST install the UAA package from the above link before you will be able to install the Conexant audio drivers.

For a graphics driver, DO NOT use the Vista-64 link. Since HP doesn't provide one for XP x64. You'll can use a driver from www.laptopvideo2go.com , and that's probably the easiest way to go. It looks like their site is down at the moment due to a hard drive failure (ouch), but once they're back up you'll be able to select the driver you want, download it, and then download a modded .inf file that recognizes your mobile graphics chip.

To take advantage of processor power saving features, you'll also need the latest processor driver from AMD here.

If you need help with any of the drivers, post back.
