Good price if you ask me, and no...bluetooth is not needed. Usually if you do not need it already you won't need it as there are always USB equivalent products.
-
that's cheap, how did you get that price offered? with a TV remote?
-
that is a GREAT price for that config!!!!!!!!!
-
Thanks all ..It came to $818 with 30% off and before taxes. How did you like the performance overall for the 6500t and issues? It would be my first time getting HP. I have a old toshiba laptops they r ok. my old toshiba is still going it almost 3+ yrs old.
... and also can you play the newer games on the HP hows the performance?
Thanks -
it will probably play games on high-medium settings
-
Definitely worth it, I payed a little over a 1,000 for it but I'm loving it so far.
-
I thought HP took the -30% coupon off already...

I love the Bluetooth- first PC I've had with it! I use a Bluetooth mouse and still have access to all USB ports. The touchpad on the 6500 is in a bad spot for your right thumb so you have to use an external mouse... unless you have integrated BT, one USB will probably be used for a wired mouse or wireless dongle.
With BT you can tether your phone for Internet or hook up a keyboard.
I'm planning on using my BT for this: Ricavision VAVE100. -
That doesn't sounds like a bad deal. I didn't even think about the bluetooth when I ordered mine. As Greg said, you can always purchase an bluetooth USB, that is a great alternative (but do lookout for rebates sales and specials, otherwise, it may cost you as much as it would have to get it installed internally).
I know you haven't said anything to indicate so, but if you qualify for the academic discount (APP program) as a student or faculty, the dv6500t comes out to 557.00 at the base config. That's a great deal, and even the upgrades are cheaper.
Good luck, let us know what you decide! -
Did any body experience any problem with the hp 6500t? I heard it makes lots of noise when on battery? or any other issues?
thanks
6500t Do you think the is a good deal for the price? or a waste of money
