I am thinking of getting either one, but im not sure which. Besides a bigger screen, is there any general performance boost from 2500t to 6500t if configured the same? I would want a smaller laptop, but if it is worth it I would go for the 6500t....

I guess with bigger screen you get better Video Card options I thinks.

honestly, if u want smaller size, definately go for the 2500t, the 2500 and 6500 have the same exact video card options, in fact, they both have 6 cell batteries, there's absolutely no reason to get a 6500t when u can get everything that it offers in a smaller package (but for 100 dollars more for the 2500t)

i carry my laptop around a lot, so i settled on the 6500. the 9500 is a major pain to carry around (this i know because my roommate has a 9000z). the 2500 was too small for me, thats why i got the 6500

I looked at the HP dv2500t in Best Buy yesterday and simply fell in love with it. Absolutely love the feel of the keyboard.

I too am concerned about a 14" screen that may be to small for hours of work. I have a home based business and work at my computer about 6-7 hours a day, in 2-3 hour spurts.

Anyone use a 14" like this and, if so, are you sorry you didn't get a 15" screen? I do not travel a lot.

Also, does anyone know if the 6500 models have the same keyboard as the 2500?

If you're unsure about going with the 2500 or the 6500, listen up.

You can always purchase a 20 inch LCD monitor to hook up to when you're at home. That way, you have the mobility of a 14 inch on the road when you need it, and comfort of a 20 inch when you're watching a movie.

i just bought the dv2500t its amazing i work at an engineer firm and we are awaiting a new pc mine was rediculisly slow so i decided to bring my laptop into work. i draw using a program called Autocad i don't know if you've herd of it but i can draw comfortable on my 14.1 screen and everything looks so clear compared to the crt monitor. i got the 2500 because im starting college in a month so i needed something light weight but this laptop is great its small and the screen is beautiful but its really up to you head over to a best buy or circuit sity and open up word and see if its comfortable for you

by the way at work im staring at the screen for 8 hrs straight and its great

I actually have a DV6000T and absolutely love it, despite some problems I have had with it. I just want a smaller laptop, but I am not sure how much I could sell my DV6000t for. It has pretty good specs....does anyone know any good places to sell?
