    Hi everyone,

    I'm considering buying the 6510b model but I have been reading some reports of users complaining about the fan noise. It seems that this was due to faulty hardware, but I would like to know if users that recently bought this model still report this issue.
    Fan noise is a big issue for me as I work several hours in quite environments. Can anyone tell me if the most recent units still have this problem? What are your views regarding the noise of this model?

    ....Unfortunately I did not do research BEFORE getting it :(

    - Current built, Aug/07-BIOS F.0B
    - Fan issue still there
    - Fan still turning on and off every minute (on no CPU/GPU/HD activity with lowest energy settings)
    - I hate it :mad:
    - You will "dislike" it too

    Guess what my recommendation is regarding this notebook....
