Hi, so when i first got my 6700t with the AGN and bluetooth everything was working fine, im not sure how it happened afterwards but i think a windows update downloaded an update for it and now i cant get into any Network options at all, all i can do is barely connect to my router and even then the setup to connect to it was very slow. Now it has the icon in the tray bar with a red X through it like it isnt connected to anything, but it is. When i scroll my mouse over it it says "connection status: unknown server execution failed"

I cant do anything like going into my Network and Sharing Center because it freezes up when i try to go in and it takes like 5 minutes to load only to say things like "server execution failed". I tryed to uninstall the driver but it immediately reinstalls it with the same error. Also, when i did a clean install it worked perfection again for a while then after a reboot to install windows update it went back again. Any idea on what i can do? I think its some kind of driver problem.

is your computer AMD/Broadcom based? if so you are probably suffering from an overheated motherboard which fried the wifi card(i think). and you're entitled for free repairs, if you havent owned the laptop for more than 2 years.

1: roll back the driver or uninstall and reinstall the driver. (device manager)
2: do a microsoft system recovery and set it back to before you installed the updates.

are two things i would try first.
