Hey everyone, I'm considering ordering a 6700t in early April. Before I order, however, I have a few questions that some of you may be able to help me with.

    Graphics card.
I doubt anyone is able to answer this, but will I be able to eventually purchase a 6700t with a 8600GS/GT? This is pretty much the only negative about the 6700t and it really bothers me.

    Coupons.
I'd prefer to get the special edition, but I don't really feel like paying $2-300 more just for the finish. A few weeks ago they had a good 6700t Special Edition coupon, was $350 off or so from what I remember. Does anyone know when HP releases new coupons?

    Thanks in advance,
    Jordan

Unforunately, HP's dv6000 series design doesnt support great cards like 8600gs/gt. I doubt they will put these cards in the future, they would have done so already.

Best you will able to get is a 8400m GS 256mb on a dv6000. For a dv2000 max you can get is 8400m GS 128mb

Nope... Not gonna happen. If you want a 8600 gs, you will have to upgrade to the dv9700t. Besides, the consesus is that HP is moving to ATI Mobility in in the next few months.
