hi, i'm the owner of a HP 6730b laptop, a few days ago the power button stop functioning, and the only way to start the laptop is with the INFO button, i don't know what the problem may be.
The othe issue is that i want to upgrade the RAM, but i opened the back cover and there was only 1 slot with 1 gb of ram. the question is where is the other slot? because i have 2 gb of ram, but i can see only 1 slot.

    please help me. thanks

PD: sorry, but my english is not so good.

The other slot in under your keyboard, open it and you'll find the other one.

thanks. The laptop is not under warranty, so i will try to find a spare "power boad".
Is there a lot of difference between this and other hp laptops? (i mean in the power board), because here in my country is gonna be difficult to find a 6730b to take apart, so maybe the best soluttion will be buying a different laptop's power board.

    Thanks for the replies
