    Hello everyone.

I 've just replaced a faulty screen on a hp 6730s laptop with a new one.

My problem is that the display is waaaayy too dark but i can still see that the screen is working.
I ve read that this could be a problem with the switch that is pressed when the laptop cover is closed causing the screen to enter a low power state.

Does anyone know where this switch is placed? I could not locate it my self.

Note that i haven't re-assembled the laptop after replacing the screen. I just connected the cables to see if its working.

    Thanks in advance!
