This seems to be consistent with anything that I try. I've checked to make sure that I have the latest drivers installed of everything, but shouldn't the 6750m show up under graphics?

I'm running HP Pavilion dv6-6135dx. Any help is appreciated!

Also, I am plugged in and my performance setting is on high. I have Crossfire graphics disabled at this time.

Try going into the Bios and change the graphics from dynamic to fixed. Then in Win7 go into the Switchable Graphics and select High Performance for everything but low power battery use(if you like).

I've tried going to the BIOS to look for an option to change the graphics settings, but those options don't appear. So far as I know, I'm still running the latest BIOS. Thanks for your help!

I just went and looked, and my bios has the setting located under System Configuration and it is the 4th choice down, labeled Switchable Graphics.

The HP laptop I checked is a DV7-6178US.

Maybe it's a difference in the DV6-6135? I went to system configuration just now and I had the following options:
    Language
    SVM Support
    Fan Always On
    Action Keys Mode
    Boot Options

Thanks again. Sorry to be a bother.

    NO bother at ALL! :)

Folks here have helped me sooooo much and I want to now help others if I can.
I just bought a DV6 but won't have it in my hands till late next week... otherwise I'd check there too.

What is under Boot Options in your bios?

    Lightbulb moment...?

Err... you have an AMD DV6 and none of what I replied is valid. DOH.... sorry.

I would post your question in the LLano DV thread and you will have an answer in an hour or less.

Sorry for wasting your time.

You didn't waste my time at all! While we were talking, I found a thread that might enable the ability to choose which graphics card to enable. I'm waiting for one thing to download, and then the moment of truth! Haha. If it doesn't work, I'll post in that thread. Thanks again! Have a great day!
