The title says it all, basically. I seem to remember it wasn't like this, and I could stress test the GPU and remain in the low to high 80's, but for some reason, now the fan won't kick in at 100% until the GPU reaches 98º.

It doesn't happen with the i7, and it doesn't happen if I stress both the 6770M and the i7 at the same time (the temps I seem to remember, between the 80's). That is, I get much lower GPU temps if I have the i7 and 6770M at 100% use, compared to just having the 6770M alone, because it only kicks into high gear at such a high temp.

    Can anyone help me?

Use app called CoolSense and set it to lowest heat emission(?)/distribution(?).

Use coolsense with maximum cooling option.

But that means no Turbo Boost, and I need it. I shouldn't need to disable it just to get the fan to fully kick in at the 80's, right?

I've been using MSI Kombustor to test, there's a "GPU Burn In" option that stresses the GPU but not the CPU.

Can anyone do me a huge favor and confirm that the fan should kick in at 100% sooner than the high 90's with the maximum performance profile in Coolsense? I think this may be a hardware issue.
