I have the Pavilion Dv6Tqe 61xx. I recently update my BIOS to the F.1A to allow me to manually switch between the Radeon and Intel card.

Ever since the update i have been seeing lots of screen tearing in any game i play, even when vsync is enabled. On some games, enabling vsync actually makes it worse.

The 6770m driver version is 8.830.6.200 with the 11.5 CCC.

Also, all the 3d application settings in CCC are set to application controlled.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Thanks for the help gnaszj. I tried what that thread said and it seems to have solved the screen tearing issue.

But now the 6770m appears as "AMD Radeon HD 6700M Series" in device manager. Is this normal?

It could just be my mind messing with me but there seems to be a slight input lag also.

    Did I do something wrong?

    Thanks.
