i tend to apply v-sync enabled while playing games because i believe that gives little bit better image quality than when disabled, but my problem is, whenver i enable v-sync on, i see constant tearing in games..isnt v-sync supposed to prevent games from tearing?? so im wondering if this is a graphic driver issue...i have dv7t and i just couldnt download the recent AMD drivers, i am using most recent hp drivers..anyhelp regarding with v-sync/tearing and 6770m drivers i would take with great appreciation.

its driver related, i was able to fix this problem by downloading a program called rivatuner which has something called d3doverrider in it. after u install rivatuner, find d3doverrider and set it to automatically force triple buffering in your programs
