    At the time I had the laptop GPU-Z was basically getting the graphic card name and clock speeds right, nothing else was accurate. I think fiver5 posted a GPU-Z shot somewhere in that monster of a Envy 17 2xxx thread.

    i saw at nbchk but i want to get the accurate clocks and want to know how it stacks up against gtx 460m

    is it slightly underclockerd than 5850m?

    yeah the gpus in the envy line are slightly underclocked (well technically they are just put at the low end of the recommended clock range given by ati/amd) and slightly undervolted ('cause HP is trying to keep the heat down or whatever)
