This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I was pretty torn between WXGA, or the WXGA+ screen. I finally settled on WXGA since I couldn't wait any longer. I think I would have still preferred the higher resolution, but WXGA on a 14.1 inch, isn't as bad as I thought it would be.

    I notice in your sig that it's the "best laptop you ever owned". :) stuff like that is very reassuring. So how's the battery life? Any random thoughts?
