I have a question about connecting an Elitebook 6930p to a monitor via HDMI. I know this model only has a VGA connection. Do any of the docks have an HDMI connection, such that I could plug the computer into that and then connect to the monitor? If so, would there be any disadvantage to doing that?

Also, is there any difference in the picture quality between connecting to a 24" external display via its VGA connection versus say connecting via DVI, Display port or HDMI if it was a different computer?

    Many thanks!
