    HOLY SCHNIKES!!!

I finally received my new HP NX9420. So naturally after buring the backup DVD's, installing a new HOSTS file and Zone Alarm the next thing was to update Windows...well, there ended up being 72-updates that had to be installed.

I think it's time for XP SP3...good thing it's a fast connection and system...

I am leaving the partitions as is for now and there is pretty much zero bloatware on the system already. I am really pleased with the system so far.

I love the keyboard, display (matte) and speed so far...easiest system setup for a laptop in several years...

Off to d/l HP's updates now...the BIOS on the system is V.02(?) or it's .03 but dang it's old...well, this was an old stock system so it's not too suprising...more later...I just had to mention the sheer number of Windows updates.

And HEY to all you Mac/Linux folks snickering out there...just go and IX yerselves!!! hehehehehe.... ;)
