Im going to get a dv9000t and I wont use the money as usefull as I canÂ…
Is it possible to upgrade the harddrive later? Because by my budget I can get only a 5400, but will I be able to do it later?

Yep, you will be able to change the hard disk after. Its normally pretty easy. All you have to do, is remove the cover, pull the old one out, and install the new one, unless its a SATA drive, in which case, you may need to install drivers.

The most frustrating part is transferring the contents over so you can boot from your old drive. It's easy if you don't mind having to re-install everything.

Just burn off the recovery discs, then it is very easy to re-install Windows.

Just FYI,
After I purchased the 7200rpm drive and replaced the original 5400rpm drive, I went out and bought a SATA external drive enclosure for like $15. Once I put the old drive in the enclosure, I could copy all contents from the old drive to the new one. The only down side for that enclosure is that it uses 2 USB ports in order to power up.
If you need more info about this enclosure, I bought it from meritline. I just checked the price, it is $26 but you might find a good deal later! -
thanks it might help!

I'm fairly certain the SATA drivers will no longer be a problem when Vista becomes the next OS.
